Pundits have declared a “New Cold War.” If only! The Cold War was a
time when leaders focused on reducing tensions between nuclear powers.
What we have today is much more dangerous: Washington’s reckless and
irresponsible aggression toward the other major nuclear powers, Russia
and China.
During my lifetime American presidents worked to defuse tensions with
Russia. President John F. Kennedy worked with Khrushchev to defuse the
Cuban Missile Crisis. President Richard Nixon negotiated SALT I and the
anti-ballistic missile treaty, and Nixon opened to Communist China.
President Carter negotiated SALT II. Reagan worked with Soviet leader
Gorbachev and ended the Cold War. The Berlin Wall came down. Gorbachev
was promised that in exchange for the Soviet Union’s agreement to the
reunification of Germany, NATO would not move one inch to the East.
Peace was at hand. And then the neoconservatives, rehabilitated by
the Israeli influence in the American press, went to work to destroy the
peace that Reagan and Gorbachev had achieved. It was a short-lasting
peace. Peace is costly to the profits of the military/security complex.
Washington’s gigantic military and security interests are far more
powerful than the peace lobby.
Since the advent of the criminal Clinton regime, every American
president has worked overtime to raise tensions with Russia and China.
China is confronted with the crazed and criminal Obama regime’s
declaration of the “pivot to Asia” and the prospect of the US Navy
controlling the sea lanes that provision China.
Russia is even more dangerously threatened with US nuclear missile
bases on her border and with US and NATO military bases stretching from
the Baltics to the Black Sea.
Russia is also threatened with endless provocations and with
demonization that is clearly intended to prepare Western peoples for war
against “the Russian threat.” Extreme and hostile words stream from
the mouth of the Democratic presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton, who
has called the president of Russia “the new Hitler” and threatened
Russia with military force. Insouciant Americans are capable of electing
this warmonger who would bring Armageddon upon the earth.
Yesterday, Israel’s voice in the US, the , added to
Hillary’s demonization of the most responsible leader in the world with
this editorial: “Vladimir Putin’s Outlaw State.” This irresponsible and
propagandistic editorial, no doubt written by the neoconservatives,
blames all the troubles in Ukraine and Syria on Putin. The NYT
presstitutes know that they have no case, so they drag in the
US-orchestrated false report on MH-17 recently released by Washington’s
Netherlands vassal.
This report is so absurd as to cast doubt on whether intelligence
exists anywhere in the Western world. Russia and the now independent
Russian provinces that have separated from Ukraine have no interest
whatsoever in shooting down a Malaysian airliner. But despite this
fact, Russia, according to the orchesrated report, sent a surface-to-air
missile, useful only at high altitude, an altitude far higher than the
Ukrainian planes fly that are attacking Russians in the separated
republics, to the “rebels” so that the “rebels” could shoot down a
Malaysian airliner. Then the missile system was sent back to Russia.
How insouciant does a person have to be to believe this propaganda from the New York Times?
Does the New York Times write this nonsense because it is bankrupt and lives on CIA subsidies?
It is obvious that the Malaysian airliner was destroyed for the
purpose of blaming Russia so that Washington could force Europe to
cooperate in applying illegal sanctions on Russia in an attempt to
destabilize Russia, a country that placed itself in the way of
Washington’s determination to destabilize Syria and Iran.
In a recent speech, the mindless cipher, who in his role as US
Secretary of Defense serves as a front man for the armaments industry,
declared the one trillion dollars (1,000 billion dollars or 1,000,000
million dollars, that is, one million dollars one million times) that
Washington is going to spend of Americans’ money for nuclear force
renewal is so we can “get up in the morning to go to school, to go to
work, to live our lives, to dream our dreams and to give our children a
better future.”
But Russia’s response to this buildup in Washington’s strategic
nuclear weapons is, according to Defense Secretary Aston B. Carter,
“saber rattling” that “raises serious questions about Russia’s leaders
commitment to strategic stability.”
Do you get the picture? Or are you an insouciant American?
Washington’s buildup is only so that we can get up in the morning and go
to school and work, but Russia’s buildup in response to Washington’s
buildup upsets “strategic stability.”
What the Pentagon chief means is that Russia is supposed to sit there
and let Washington gain the upper hand so Washington can maintain
“strategic stability” by dictating to Russia. By not letting Washington
prevail, Russia is upsetting “strategic stability.”
US Secretary of State John Kerry, who has been broken and tamed by
the neoconservatives, recently displayed the same point of view with his
“ultimatum” to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. In effect,
Kerry told Lavrov that Russia must stop helping Syria resist the
jihadist forces and allow the US-supported ISIS to regain the initiative
and reduce Syria to the chaos in which Washington left Libya and Iraq.
Otherwise, Kerry said that the agreement to cooperate is off.
There can be no cooperation between the US and Russia over Syria,
because the two government’s goals are entirely different. Russia wants
to defeat ISIS, and the US wants to use ISIS to overthrow Assad. This
should be clear to the Russians. Yet they still enter into “agreements”
that Washington has no intention of keeping. Washington breaks the
agreements and blames Russia, thus creating more opportunities to paint
Russia as untrustworthy. Without Russia’s cooperation in setting
themselves up for blame, Russia’s portrait would not be so black.

The headline set the stage: “Russia’s Brutal Bombing of Aleppo May Be
Calculated, and It May Be Working.” According to the NYT report, Russia
was not bombing ISIS. Russia was “destroying hospitals and schools,
choking off basic supplies, and killing aid workers and hundereds of
civilians.”
The NYT asks: “What could possibly motivate such brutality?”
The NYT answers: Russia is “massacring Aleppo’s civilians as part of a
calculated strategy . . . designed to pressure [moderates] to ally
themselves with extremists,” thereby discrediting the forces that
Washington has sent to overthrow Syria and to reduce the country to
chaos.
When America’s Newspaper of Record is nothing but a propaganda ministry, what is America?
Pundits keep explaining that Washington’s 15 year old wars in the
Middle East are about controlling the routing of energy pipelines.
Little doubt this is a factor as it brings on board powerful American
energy and financial interests. But this is not the motive for the
wars. Washington, or the neoconservatives who control the US
government, intend to destabilize the Russian Federation, the former
Soviet Central Asian countries, and China’s Muslim province by adding
Syria and then Iran to the chaos that Washington has created in Iraq and
Libya. If Washington succeeds in destroying Syria as it succeeded in
destroying Libya and Iraq, Iran becomes the last buffer for Russia. If
Washington then knocks off Iran, Russia is set up for destabilization by
jihadists operating in Muslim regions of the Russian Federation.
This is clear as day. Putin understands this. But Russia, which
existed under Washington’s domination during the Yeltsin years, has been
left threatened by Washington’s Fifth Columns in Russia. There are a
large number of foreign-financed NGOs in Russia that Putin finally
realized were Washington’s agents. These Washington operatives have
been made to register as foreign-financed, but they are still
functioning.
Russia is also betrayed by a section of its elite who are allied
economically, politically, and emotionally with Washington. I have
termed these Russians “America Worshipers.” Their over-riding cause is
to have Russia integrated with the West, which means to be a vassal of
Washington.
Washington’s money even seems to have found its way into Russian
“think tanks” and academic institutions. According to this report (https://sputniknews.com/world/20160929/1045838744/russia-united-states-asia-pacific-region.html),
two think tanks, one Russian one American, possibly funded by
Washington’s money, have concluded that “US,Russia ‘Have far more common
interests than differences’ in Asia-Pacific.”
This “academic report” is a direct assault on the Russian/Chinese
alliance. It makes one wonder whether the report was funded by the CIA.
The Russian media fall for the “common interest” propaganda, because
they desire to be included in the West. Like Russian academics, the
Russian media know English, not Chinese. Russia’s history since Peter
the Great is with the West. So that is where they want to be. However,
these America Worshiping Russians cannot understand that to be part of
the West means being Washington’s vassal, or if they do understand the
price, they are content with a vassal’s status like Germany, Great
Britain, France, and the rest of the European puppet states.
To be a vassal is not an unusual choice in history. For example,
many peoples chose to be Rome’s vassals, so those elements in Russia who
desire to be Washington’s vassal have precedents for their decision.
To reduce Russia’s status to Washington’s vassal, we have Russian-US
cooperation between the Moscow-based Institute of World Economy and
International Relations and the US-based International Institute for
Strategic Studies. These two co-conspirators against Russian sovereignty
are working to destroy Russia’s strategic alliance with China and to
create a US-Russian Pacific Alliance in its place. One of the benefits,
the joint report declares, is “maintaining freedom of navigation and
maritime security.”
“Freedom of navigation” is Washington’s term for controlling the sea
lanes that supply China. So now we have a Russian institute supporting
Washington’s plans to cut off resource flow into China. This idiocy on
the part of the Moscow-based Institute of World Economy and
International Relations is unlikely to reassure China about its alliance
with Russia. If the alliance is broken, Washington can more easily
deal with the two constraints on its unilateralism.
Additionally, the joint report says that Moscow could cooperate with
Washington in confidence-building measures to resolve territorial
disputes in the Asia-Pacific region. What this means is that Russia
should help Washington pressure China to give up its territorial claims.
One cannot but wonder if the Moscow-based Institute of World Economy
and International Relations is a CIA front. If it is not, the CIA is
getting a free ride.
The foreign policy of the United States rests entirely on
propagandistic lies. The presstitute media, a Ministry of Propaganda,
establishes an orchestrated reality by treating lies as fact. News
organizations around the world, accustomed as they are to following
Washington’s lead, echo the lies as if they are facts.
Thus Washington’s lies–such as Saddam Hussein’s weapons of mass
destruction, Iranian nukes, Assad’s use of chemical weapons, Russian
invasions–become the reality.
Russia’s very capable spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, understands that
Washington uses the Western media to control explanations by shaping
public opinion. She terms it a “reality show.” However, Zakharova
thinks the problem is that Washington misuses “international relations

By this she means that Obama’s foreign policy failures have made him
hysterical and impudent as he strives to leave a legacy, and that
American/Russian relations are poisoned by the US presidential campaign
that is painting Trump as a “Putin stooge” for not seeing the point of
conflict with Russia.
The US presstitutes are disreputable. This morning NPR presented us
with a report on Chinese censorship of the media as if this was
something that never happens in the US. Yet NPR not only censors the
news, but uses disinformation as a weapon in behalf of Washington and
Israel’s agendas. Anyone who depends on NPR is presented a very
controlled picture of the world. And do not forget German newspaper
editor Udo Ulfkotte, who admits he planted stories for the CIA in the
Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitnung and says that there is no significant

The situation is far more serious than Zakharova realizes. Russians
seem unable to get their minds around the fact that the neoconservatives
are serious about imposing Washington’s hegemony on the rest of the
world. The neoconservative doctrine declares that it is the principal
goal of US foreign policy to prevent the rise of any country that would
have sufficient power to serve as a check on American unilateralism.
This neoconservative doctrine puts Russia and China in Washington’s
cross hairs. If the Russian and Chinese governments do not yet
understand this, they are not long for this world.
The neoconservative doctrine fits perfectly with the material
interests of the US military/security complex. The US armaments and spy
industries have had 70 years to entrench themselves with a huge claim
on the US budget. This politically powerful interest group has no
intention of letting go of its hold on US resources.
As long ago as 1961, President Dwight D. Eisenhower in his last
public address to the American people warned that the Cold War
confronted Americans with a new internal danger as large as the external
Soviet threat:
“Our military organization today bears little relation to that known
by any of my predecessors in peacetime, or indeed by the fighting men of
World War II or Korea.
“Until the latest of our world conflicts, the United States had no
armaments industry. American makers of plowshares could, with time and
as required, make swords as well. But now we can no longer risk
emergency improvisation of national defense; we have been compelled to
create a permanent armaments industry of vast proportions. Added to
this, three and a half million men and women are directly engaged in the
defense establishment. We annually spend on military security more than
the net income of all United States corporations.
“This conjunction of an immense military establishment and a large
arms industry is new in the American experience. The total influence —
economic, political, even spiritual — is felt in every city, every State
house, every office of the Federal government. We recognize the
imperative need for this development. Yet we must not fail to comprehend
its grave implications. Our toil, resources and livelihood are all
involved; so is the very structure of our society.
“In the councils of government, we must guard against the
acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the
military industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of
misplaced power exists and will persist.
“We must never let the weight of this combination endanger
our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for
granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper
meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with
our peaceful methods and goals, so that security and liberty may prosper
together.”
President Eisenhower’s warning that our liberties were equally at
stake from the military/security complex as from the Soviet Threat did
not last 24 hours. The military/security complex buried Eisenhower’s
warning with extraordinary hype of the Soviet Threat.
In truth, there was no Soviet threat. Stalin had buffered Russia from
the West with his control of Eastern Europe, just as Washington
controlled Western Europe. Stalin had eliminated Trotsky and his
supporters who stood for world revolution. Stalin declared “socialism
in one country.”
Stalin terminated international communism. But the American
military/security complex had much money to gain from the American
taxpayers in order to “protect America from International Communism.”
So the fact that there was no effort on the part of the Soviet Union to
subvert the world was ignored. Instead, every national liberation
movement was declared by the US military/industrial complex to be a
“falling domino” of the Communist takeover of the world.
Ho Chi Minh begged Washington for help against the French
colonialists in Vietnam. Washington told him to go to hell. It was
Washington that sent Ho Cho Minh to seek communist support.
The long Vietnam war went on for years. It enriched the
military/security complex and officers’ pensions. But it was otherwise
entirely pointless. There were no dominoes to fall. Vietnam won the
war but is open to American influence and commerce.
Because of the military/security complex more than 50,000 Americans
died in the war and many thousands more suffered physical and
psychological wounds. Millions of Vietnamese suffered death, maiming,
birth defects and illnesses associated with Washington’s use of Agent
Orange.
The entire war was totally pointless. It achieved nothing but destruction of innocents.
This is Washington’s preferred way. The corrupt capitalism that rules
in America has no interest in life, only in profit. Profit is all that
counts. If entire countries are destroyed and left in ruins, all the
better for American armaments industries.
Yes, please, a new Cold War. We need one desperately, a conflict
responsibly managed in place of the reckless, insane drive for world
hegemony emanating from the crazed, evil criminals in Washington who are
driving the world to Armageddon.

The monthly payroll jobs reports have become a bad joke.
No growth in real retail sales, but 55,000 retail trade new jobs in February.
No growth in real consumer income, but 40,000 more waitresses and bartenders.
86,000 new jobs in Education, health services, and social assistance. February is a strange month to be hiring new teachers. If February brought a quarter million new jobs, how come a big hike in social assistance jobs?
Manufacturing lost 16,000 jobs.

Truth Is Washington’s Enemy

US Representative Ed Royce (R, CA) is busy at work destroying the
possibility of truth being spoken in the US. On April 15 at a hearing
before the House Committee on Foreign Affairs of which Royce is
chairman, Royce made use of two minor presstitutes to help him redefine
all who take exception to Washington’s lies as “threats” who belong to a

Washington’s problem is that whereas Washington controls the print
and TV media in the US and its vassal states in Europe, Canada,
Australia, Ukraine, and Japan, Washington does not control Internet
sites, such as this one, or media, such as RT, of non-vassal states.
Consequently, Washington’s lies are subject to challenge, and as people
lose confidence in Western print and TV media because of the propaganda
content, Washington’s agendas, which depend on lies, are experiencing
rougher sledding.
Truth is bubbling up through Washington’s propaganda. Confronted
with the possibility of a loss of control over every explanation,
Hillary Clinton, Ed Royce, and the rest are suddenly complaining that
Washington is “losing the information war.” Huge sums of taxpayers’ hard
earned money will now be used to combat the truth with lies.
What to do? How to suppress truth with lies in order to remain in control? The answer says Andrew Lack, Royce, et alia,
is to redefine a truth-teller as a terrorist. Thus, the comparison of
RT and “dissident” Internet bloggers to the Islamist State and the
designated terror group, Boko Haram.
Royce expanded the definition of terrorist to include dissident
bloggers, such as Chris Hedges, John Pilger, Glenn Greenwald and the
rest of us, who object to the false reality that Washington creates in
order to serve undeclared agendas. For example, if Washington wants to
pour profits into the military/security complex in exchange for
political campaign contributions, the politicians cannot say that.
Instead, they claim to protect America from a dangerous enemy or from
weapons of mass destruction by starting a war. If politicians want to
advance American financial or energy imperialism, they have to do so in
the name of “bringing freedom and democracy.” If the politicians want
to prevent the rise of other countries, such as Russia, President Obama
has to depict Russia as a threat comparable to the Ebola virus and the
Islamist State.
Noam Chomsky summed it up when he said that Washington regards any
information that does not repeat Washington’s propaganda to be
intolerable.
Washington’s assault on truth as a threat helps to make sense of the
gigantic National Security Agency spy system exposed by William Binney
and Edward Snowden. One of the purposes of the spy network is to
identify all “dissidents” who challenge Big Brother’s “Truth.”
There is, or will be, a dossier on every “dissident” with all of the
dissident’s emails, Internet searches, websites visited, phone calls,
purchases, travels. The vast amount of information on each dissident
can be combed for whatever can be taken out of context to make a case
against him, if a case is even needed. Washington has already
successfully asserted its power over the Constitution to indefinitely
detain without charges and to torture and to murder US citizens.
It was a couple of years ago that Janet Napolitano, head of Homeland
Security, said that the department’s focus had shifted from terrorists
to domestic extremists. Lumped into the category of domestic extremists
are environmental activists, animal rights activists, anti-war
activists which includes disillusioned war veterans, and people who
believe in states’ rights, limited government and accountable
government. Consequently, many dissidents, America’s best citizens,
will qualify as domestic extremists on several accounts. Chris Hedges,
for example, is an advocate for animals (see http://www.opednews.com/articles/Choosing-Life-by-Chris-Hedges-Animals_Cattle_Corporate_Dairy-150420-878.html ) as well as concerned about the environment and Washington’s never-ending wars.
The spying and the coming crackdown on “dissidents” might also
explain the $385 million federal contract awarded to a subsidiary of
Dick Cheney’s firm, Halliburton, to build detention camps in the US.
Few seem to be concerned with who the camps are to detain. There is no
media or congressional investigation. It seems unlikely that the camps
are for hurricane or forest fire evacuees. Concentration camps are
usually for people regarded as unreliable. And as Lack, Royce, et alia have made clear, unreliable people are those who do not support Washington’s lies.
A perceived need by Washington, and the private power structure that
Washington serves, to protect themselves from truth could also be the
reason for the very strange military exercises in various of the states
to infiltrate, occupy, and round-up “threats” among the civilian

) Even the presstitute CNN reported that the National Guard troops
sent to Ferguson, Missouri, were programmed to view the civilian
protesters as “enemy forces” and “adversaries,” and we know that the
state and local militarized police are trained to view US citizens as
threats.
As far as I can discern, not many Americans, whether Democrat or
Republican, liberal, conservative, or super-patriot, educated or not,
understand that Washington with the cooperation of its presstitute media
has defined truth as a threat. In Washington’s opinion, truth is a greater threat than Ebola, Russia, China, terrorism, and the Islamic State combined.
A government that cannot survive truth and must resort to stamping
out truth is not a government that any country wants. But such an
undesirable government is the government that
Clinton-Bush-Cheney-Obama-Hillary-Lack-Royce have given us.
Does it satisfy you? Are you content that in your name and with
taxes on your hard-earned and increasingly scarce earnings, Washington
in the 21st century has murdered, maimed, and displaced millions of
peoples in eight countries, has set America on the path to war with
Russia and China, and has declared truth to be an enemy of the state?

CNN Is Beating the Drums of War

President George W. Bush’s national security advisor, Condi Rice,
warned Americans that Saddam Hussein’s (nonexistent) weapons of mass
destruction could result in a mushroom cloud going up over an American
city. No such threat existed. But today a very real threat exists over
all American cities, and the national security advisor does not notice.
The threat issues from Washington and arises from the demonization of Russia and its leadership.
Wolf Blitzer (CNN, March 13) used the cover of a news program to
broadcast a propaganda performance straight out of the Third Reich or
perhaps from George Orwell’s 1984. The orchestration presented
Russia as a massive, aggressive military threat. The screen was filled
with missiles firing and an assortment of American General Strangeloves
urging provocative measures to be deployed against the Russian Threat.
Blitzer’s program is part of the orchestrated propaganda campaign whose
purpose is to prepare Americans for conflict with Russia.
It was such irresponsible propaganda and so many blatant lies for a
media organization to sponsor that it was obvious that CNN and Wolf
Blitzer had no fear of being called on the carpet for spreading war
fever. The so-called “mainstream media” has been transformed into a
Ministry of Propaganda.
Similar propaganda is being spread in the UK where defense minister
Michael Fallon declared Russia to be a “real and present danger” to
Europe. US troops and tanks are being rushed to the Baltics on the
pretext that Russia is going to attack.
That such blatant lies can issue from high government officials
without a shred of evidence and without shame should scare you to death.
We are witnessing the total disrespect for truth and human life by high
government officials and the presstitute media.
The propaganda is driving the world toward war. The propaganda has destroyed the trust between nuclear powers and
has resurrected the threat of nuclear armageddon. The Russian
government sees that Washington and its NATO vassals are conjuring a
nonexistent Russian Threat. Clearly this conjured threat has a purpose
that intends Russia harm.
Washington’s propaganda spread by the presstitutes is the most
irresponsible act in human history. Reagan and Gorbachev succeeded in
removing the threat of nuclear war, and the crazed neoconservatives and
their media whores have brought it back.
Washington’s propaganda attack on Russia and Vladimir Putin is like
Washington’s attack on Afghanistan and Osama bin Laden, Iraq and Saddam
Hussein, Libya and Gaddafi. Does this mean that Washington intends to
attack Russia in a pre-emptive nuclear strike?
If so, it means the end of the world. Clearly, the threat to the
United States and the entire world resides in Washington and not in
Moscow. The threat is the crazed neoconservative ideology of US world
hegemony supported by the unbridled greed of American corporations to
control the resources of the world
Putin understands the seriousness of the situation and is working
hard to diffuse it, but Washington has made it impossible to diffuse.
Washington’s price is that Putin must hand over Crimea and the Russian
Black Sea naval base, abandon the Russian populations in southern and
eastern Ukraine, and accept NATO military bases in Ukraine.
Washington’s demand is a demand for Russia’s pre-emptive surrender.
In the CNN propaganda show, Wolf Blitzer failed to report that German
intelligence challenges Washington’s claims about Russia and that the
French and German governments have finally realized that Washington is
insane and are working desperately to stop Washington’s drive toward
war.
Washington and its UK puppet have spent the entirety of the 21st
century creating death and destruction. Seven countries have been
invaded, bombed, or droned in order “to spread democracy.” Iraq is
destroyed, as is Afghanistan, Libya and Somalia . Syria nearly so, and
Pakistan and Yemen are politically and socially destabilized by
incessant US air attacks. The democratic, elected, governments of
Honduras and Ukraine have been overthrown by US coups. Venezuela is

The Cowardly and Despicable American Presstitutes

February 5, 2015. There is a brouhaha underway about an American
journalist who told a story about being in a helicopter in a war zone.
The helicopter was hit and had to land. Which war zone and when I don’t
know. The US has created so many war zones that it is difficult to
keep up with them all, and as you will see, I am not interested in the
story for its own sake.
It turns out that the journalist has remembered incorrectly. He was
in a helicopter in a war zone, but it wasn’t hit and didn’t have to
land. The journalist has been accused of lying in order to make himself
seem to be “a more seasoned war correspondent than he is.”
The journalist’s presstitute colleagues are all over him with
accusations. He has even had to apologize to the troops. Which troops
and why is unclear. The American requirement that everyone apologize for
every word reminds me of the old Soviet practice, real or alleged by
anti-communists, that required Soviet citizens to self-criticize.
National Public Radio (2-5-15) thought this story of the American
journalist was so important that the program played a recording of the
journalist telling his story. It sounded like a good story to me. The
audience enjoyed it and was laughing. The journalist telling the story
did not claim any heroism on his part or any failure on the part of the
helicopter crew. It is normal for helicopters to take hits in war
zones.
Having established that the journalist had actually stated that the
helicopter was hit when in fact it wasn’t, NPR brought on the program a
psychologist at the University of California, Irvine, an expert on
“false memory.” The psychologist explained various reasons a person
might have false memories, making the point that it is far from uncommon
and that the journalist is most likely just another example. But the
NPR presstitute still wanted to know if the journalist had intentionally
lied in order to make himself look good. It was never explained why it
made a journalist look good to be in a helicopter forced to land. But
few presstitutes get to this depth of questioning.
Now to get to the real point. I was listening to this while driving
as it was less depressing to listen to NPR’s propaganda than to listen
to the Christian-Zionist preachers. In the previous hour NPR had
presented listeners with three reports about civilian deaths in the
break-away provinces in eastern and southern Ukraine. The first time I
heard the report, the NPR presstitute recounted how explosives had hit a
hospital killing 5 people in the break-away Donetsk Republic. The
presstitute did not report that this was done by Ukrainian forces,
instead suggesting that it could have been done by the
“Russian-supported rebels.” He didn’t offer any explanation why the
rebels would attack their own hospital. The impression left for that
small percentage of informed Americans capable of thought is that
presstitutes are not allowed to say that the Washington-backed
Ukrainians attacked a hospital.
In all three reports, Secretary of State John Kerry was broadcast
saying that the US wanted a diplomatic, peaceful solution, but that the
Russians were blocking a peaceful solution by sending tank columns and
troops into Ukraine. On my return trip, I heard over NPR Kerry twice
more repeating the unsupported claim that Russian tanks and troops are
pouring into Ukraine. Obviously, NPR was serving as a propaganda voice
that Russia was invading Ukraine.
Think about this for a minute. We have been hearing from high US
government officials, including the president himself, for months and
months about Russian tank columns and troops entering Ukraine. The
Russian government denies this steadfastly, but, of course, we cannot
trust the now-demonized Russians. We are not allowed to believe them,
because they are positioned as the Enemy, and good patriotic Americans
never believe the Enemy.
But how can we help but believe the Russians? If all these Russian
tank columns and troops that have allegedly been pouring into Ukraine
were real, Washington’s puppet government in Kiev would have fallen
sometime last year, and the conflict would be over. Anyone with a brain
knows this.
So, we arrive at my point. A journalist told a harmless story and
has been roasted alive and forced to apologize to the troops for lying.
In the middle of this brouhaha, the US Secretary of State, the
President of the United States, innumerable senators, executive branch
officials, and presstitutes have repeatedly reported month after month
Russian tank
columns and troops entering Ukraine. Yet, despite all
these Russian forces, the civilians in the break-away provinces of
eastern and southern Ukraine are still being slaughtered by Washington’s
puppet state in Kiev.
If Russian tanks and troops are this ineffective, why are NATO
commanders and neoconservative warmongers warning of the dire danger
that Russia poses to the Baltics, Poland, and Eastern Europe?
It doesn’t make any sense, does it?
So the question is: Why are the presstitutes all over some hapless
journalist rather than holding accountable the Great Liars, John Kerry
and Barak Obama?
The answer is: It is costless to the presstitutes to try to destroy,
for totally insignificant reasons–perhaps just for the pleasure of it,
like “American Sniper” killing people for fun–one of their own, but they
would be fired if they hold Kerry and Obama accountable, and they know
it. But they have to get someone, so they eat their own.
A democracy without an honest media cannot exist. In America
democracy is a facade behind which operates every evil inclination of
mankind. During the past 14 years the American people have supported
governments that have invaded, bombed, or droned seven countries,
killing, maiming, and displacing millions of people for no reason other
than profit and hegemonic power. There is scant sign that this has
caused very many Americans sleepless nights or a bad conscience.
When Washington is not bombing and killing, it is plotting to
overthrow reformist governments, such as the Honduran government Obama
overthrew, and the Venezuelan, Bolivian, Ecuadoran, and Argentine
governments that the Obama regime is current trying to overthrow. And,
also, of course the democratically elected government in Ukraine that
has been supplanted by Washington’s coup.
The new Greek government is in the crosshairs, and so is Putin himself.
Washington and its fawning presstitutes branded the elected Ukrainian
government that was a victim of Washington’s coup, “a corrupt
dictatorship.” The replacement government consists of a combination of
Washington puppets and neo-nazis with their own military forces sporting
Nazi insignias. The American presstitutes have been careful not to
notice the Nazi insignias.
Ask yourself why a journalist’s false memory episode of an
insignificant event is so important to the American presstitutes, while
John Kerry’s and Barak Obama’s extraordinary, blatant, blockbuster, and
dangerous lies are ignored.
In the event you have forgotten the efficiency of the Russian
military, remember the fate of the American and Israeli trained and
equipped Georgian Army that Washington sicced on South Ossetia. The
Georgian invasion of South Ossetia resulted in the deaths of Russian
peace-keeping soldiers and Russian citizens. The Russian military
intervened, and the American and Israeli trained and equipped Georgian
Army collapsed in five hours. All of Georgia was back in Russian hands,
but the Russians withdrew and left the former province of Russia
independent, despite the lies from Washington that Putin intends to
restore the Soviet Empire.
The only correct conclusion that any American can make is that every
statement of the US government and its presstitute media is a blatant
lie designed to serve a secret agenda that the American people would not
support if they knew of its existence.

If there were any doubts that Western “leaders” live in a fantasy
make-believe world constructed out of their own lies, the G-7 meeting
and 70th anniversary celebration of the Normandy landing dispelled the
doubts.
The howlers issuing from these occasions are enough to split your
sides. Obama and his lap dog Cameron described the Normandy landing on
June 6, 1944, as “the greatest liberation force that the world has ever
known” and took all the credit for the US and Britain for the defeat of
Hitler. No mention was made of the Soviet Union and the Red Army, which for three years prior to the Normandy landing had been fighting and defeating the Wehrmacht.
The Germans lost World War II at the Battle of Stalingrad, which was
fought from August 23, 1942 until February 2, 1943, when most of the
remnants of the powerful German Sixth Army surrendered, including 22
generals.
Nineteen months previously the largest invasion force ever assembled
on planet earth invaded Russia across a one thousand mile front. Three million
crack German troops; 7,500 artillery units, 19 panzer divisions with
3,000 tanks, and 2,500 aircraft rolled across Russia for 14 months.
By June 1944, three years later, very little of this force was left.
The Red Army had chewed it up. When the so-called “allies” (a term
which apparently excludes Russia) landed in France, there was little to
resist them. The best forces remaining to Hitler were on the Russian
front, which collapsed day by day as the Red Army approached Berlin.
The Red Army won the war with Germany. The Americans and the British
showed up after the Wehrmacht was exhausted and in tatters and could
offer little resistance. Joseph Stalin believed that Washington and
London stayed out of the war until the last minute and left Russia with
the burden of defeating Germany.
Hollywood and popular writers have, of course, buried the facts.
Americans have all sorts of movies, such as “A Bridge Too Far,” that
portray insignificant events, however heroic, as turning points in the
war. Nevertheless, the facts are clear. The war was won on the Eastern
front by Russia. Hollywood’s movies are fun, but they are nonsense.
Russia is again on the outs with “the world community,” because
Obama’s plan to seize Ukraine and to evict Russia from its Black Sea
base in Crimea has come a cropper. Crimea has been a part of Russia for
as long as the US has existed. Khrushchev, a Ukrainian, stuck Crimea
into the Ukrainian Socialist Republic in 1954 when Russia and Ukraine
were part of the same country.
When the Washington-imposed stooge government in Kiev recently
declared that it was abolishing the use of the Russian language and
arresting Ukrainians who had dual Russian citizenship and began tearing
down Russian war memorials consecrated to the liberation of Ukraine from
the Nazis, the people in Crimea used the ballot box to disassociate
from Washington’s stooge government in Kiev, first voting their
independence and then voting for reunification with their mother
country.
Washington, and the other G-7 countries following Washington’s
orders, described this Crimean act of self-determination, which is
exactly comparable to the act of self-determination declared by
Britain’s American colonies, to be a case of “Russian invasion and
annexation.” Similar efforts to disassociate from Kiev are underway in
other former Russian territories that today comprise eastern and
southern Ukraine. Washington has equated self-determination in eastern
and southern Ukraine with “terrorism” and has encouraged its stooge in
Kiev to use military violence against protesting civilians. The reason
for branding separatists “terrorists” is to make it OK to kill them.
It is extraordinary to any learned person that the President of the
United States and the titular heads of state of the Western European
countries would publicly declare such blatant lies to the world. The
world has historians. The world has peoples whose knowledge vastly
exceeds that of the “mainstream media,” a.k.a., the Ministry of
Propaganda, or, as Gerald Celente brands them, “the presstitutes.”
Whatever name we use, the Western media is a collection of well paid
whores.They lie for money, dinner party invitations, and speaking
invitations with large honorariums and book contracts with large
advances.
I know. They tried to recruit me.
Notice how narrowly Washington defines “the world community.” The
“world community” consists of the Group of 7. That’s it. Seven
countries make up the “world community.” The “world community” consists
of six white countries and Washington’s puppet state of Japan. The
“world community” is the US, Canada, Britain, Germany, France, Italy,
and Japan. The other 190 countries are not part of Washington’s “world
community.” In the neocon doctrine, they are not even part of humanity.
The “world community” doesn’t have the population of single excluded
countries, such as China or India. I haven’t done the calculation, but
probably the land mass of Russia itself exceeds the land mass of the
“world community.”
So, what is this “world community?”
The “world community” is the assemblage of US vassal states.
Britain, France, and Germany were important on the 20th century scene.
Their histories are studied in universities. The populations had a
decent standard of living, although not for all citizens. Their past is
the reason for their present importance.
In effect, these countries were propelled forward by history, or by
the history important to the West. Japan, being an appendage of
Washington, has tried to become “western.” It is extraordinary how such
a proud, war-like people became nothing.
As I have finally stopped laughing at the presumed non-role of Russia
in the defeat of Hitler, let’s return to the G-7 meeting. The Big
Happening of this meeting was Russia’s exclusion and the shrinkage of
the G-8 to the G-7.
This was the first time in 17 years that Russia was not allowed to participate in the meeting of which Russia is a member. Why?
Russia is being punished. Russia is being isolated from the 7
countries that the White House Fool thinks constitute “the world
community.”
Obama is angry that his National Security Council and the morons he
appointed to the State Department and UN were so poorly educated that
they did not know that much of the Ukraine consists of former Russian
provinces inhabited by Russians. These ignorant Obama-appointed morons
thought that they could grab Crimea, evict Russia, and leave Russia
without access to the Mediterranean, thus unable to hold on to its naval
base in Tartus, Syria, the easier for Washington to invade Syria.
Crimea has been part of Russia since Russia completed the reconquest
from the Tartars. I remember the Tarter, or Tater, ethnics from my visit
to Tamerlane the Great’s (Timur as he was also known) tomb in Samarkand
53 years ago. Today Tamerlane’s city is refurbished as a tourist site.
53 years ago it was a desolate place in ruins, overgrown with trees
growing out of the tops of the minarets.
As Obama’s plan to seize Ukraine failed, like every one of his other
plans has failed, Washington’s spokesmen for the vested private
interests have seized on the opportunity to demonize Putin and Russia
and to restart the Cold War. Obama and his Group of 7 puppets or
vassals used the occasion to threaten Russia with real sanctions, in
place of the present propaganda sanctions that have no effect.
According to Obama and his British lap dog, Putin must somehow prevent
the Russian populations of eastern and southern Ukraine from protesting
their subservience to a neo-fascist government in Kiev backed by
Washington, or else.
Putin is supposed to embrace the Oligarch, a former minister of the
government that Washington overthrew, put in office by a fake vote in
which turnout was a small percent of the population. Putin is supposed
to kiss this corrupt Oligarch on both cheeks, pay Ukraine’s natural gas
bills and forgive its debts. In addition, Russia is supposed to
repudiate the Crimean people, evict them from their re-unity with Russia
and hand them over to the neo-Nazi Right Sector to be eliminated as
retribution for Russia’s victory over Nazi Germany, for whom some
Western Ukrainians fought. In exchange, Washington and NATO will put
anti-ballistic missile bases on Ukraine’s border with Russia in order to
protect Europe from nonexistent Iranian nuclear ICBMs.
This is supposed to be a win-win deal for Russia.
The Obama regime used its well-paid NGOs in Ukraine to overthrow an
elected, democratic government, a government no more corrupt than those
in Western or Eastern Europe or Washington.
The political morons who have England, France, Germany, and Italy in
their hands are wagging their fists at Russia, warning of more, this
time real, sanctions. Do these morons really want their energy
supplies cut off? There is no prospect, despite the propagandistic
claims, of Washington supplying the energy on which Germany industry
depends and on which Europeans depend so that they do not freeze in the
winter.
Sanctions on Russia will wreck Europe and have little, if any, effect
on Russia. Russia is already moving, with China and the BRICS, outside
the dollar payments mechanism.
As the demand for dollars drops, the dollar’s exchange value will
drop. Initially, Washington will be able to force its vassals to
support the dollar, but eventually this will become impossible.
What the White House Fool, the neoconized National Security Council,
the presstitute media, and subservient Congress are doing is to support
and uphold the policies based on hubris and arrogance that are leading
the US into the abyss.
An abyss is like a black hole. You don’t get out.
Washington’s lies are so blatant and transparent that Washington is
destroying its own credibility. Consider the NSA spying. Documents
released by Snowden and Greenwald make it completely clear that
Washington spies not only on government leaders and ordinary people but
also on foreign businesses in order to advance US commercial and
financial interests. That the US steals Chinese business secrets is not
in doubt. So what does Washington do? Washington not only denies what
the documents prove but turns the charge around and indicts five
Chinese generals for spying on US corporations.
The only purpose of these indictments hyped by the US attorney
general is propaganda.The indictments are otherwise totally meaningless,
not merely false. China is not about to turn over five Chinese
generals to the liars in Washington. For the presstitute media the
story is a way to move the NSA’s spying out of the spotlight. China is
substituted for the NSA as the guilty party.
Why doesn’t China, Brazil, Germany and every other country issue
arrest warrants for NSA’s top officials, for Obama, and for the members
of the congressional oversight committee? Why do other countries always
allow Washington to control the explanation with propaganda first
strikes?
Americans are very susceptible to propaganda. They seem to have a
special taste for it. Consider the hate whipped up against Sgt. Bowe
Bergdahl, a US soldier just released by the Taliban in a prisoner
exchange with the US. The hatred and bloodlust that the presstitute
media have whipped up against Bergdahl has caused his hometown to cancel
the celebration of his release. The press engineered hatred of Bergdahl
has spilled over into threats against Hailey, Idaho.
What is the basis for the attacks on Bergdahl? Apparently, the
answer is that Bergdahl, like pro-football star Pat Tillman who turned
down a $3.6 million contract to join the Army Rangers and go to defend
freedom in Afghanistan, came down with a case of doubts about the war.
Originally Pat Tillman’s death was attributed to his heroic action and
enemy fire. Then it emerged that Tillman was a victim of “friendly
fire.” Many concluded that he was murdered, because the government did
not want a sports hero speaking out about the war. As Bergdahl is off
the battlefield, he has to be murdered in the press–like Russia, China,
Iran, Putin, Assad, Crimeans, and the Russian-speaking population in
Ukraine.
In America hate and the cultivation of hate is alive and well. But not a single moral virtue is.

Gerald Celente calls the Western media “presstitutes,” an ingenuous
term that I often use. Presstitutes sell themselves to Washington for
access and government sources and to keep their jobs. Ever since the
corrupt Clinton regime permitted the concentration of the US media,
there has been no journalistic independence in the United States except
for some Internet sites.
Glenn Greenwald points out the independence that RT, a Russian media
organization, permits Abby Martin who denounced Russia’s alleged
invasion of Ukraine, compared to the fates of Phil Donahue (MSNBC) and
Peter Arnett (NBC), both of whom were fired for expressing opposition to
the Bush regime’s illegal attack on Iraq. The fact that Donahue had
NBC’s highest rated program did not give him journalistic independence.
Anyone who speaks the truth in the American print or TV media or on NPR
is immediately fired.
Russia’s RT seems actually to believe and observe the values that Americans profess but do not honor.

Greenwald is entirely admirable. He has intelligence, integrity, and
courage. He is one of the brave to whom my just published book, How America Was Lost, is dedicated. As for RT’s Abby Martin, I admire her and have been a guest on her program a number of times.
My criticism of Greenwald and Martin has nothing to do with their
integrity or their character. I doubt the claims that Abby Martin
grandstanded on “Russia’s invasion of Ukraine” in order to boost her
chances of moving into the more lucrative “mainstream media.” My point
is quite different. Even Abby Martin and Greenwald, both of whom bring
us much light, cannot fully escape Western propaganda.
For example, Martin’s denunciation of Russia for “invading” Ukraine
is based on Western propaganda that Russia sent 16,000 troops to occupy
Crimea. The fact of the matter is that those 16,000 Russian troops have
been in Crimea since the 1990s. Under the Russian-Ukrainian agreement,
Russia has the right to base 25,000 troops in Crimea.
Apparently, neither Abby Martin nor Glenn Greenwald, two intelligent
and aware people, knew this fact. Washington’s propaganda is so
pervasive that two of our best reporters were victimized by it.
As I have written several times in my columns, Washington organized
the coup in Ukraine in order to promote its world hegemony by capturing
Ukraine for NATO and putting US missile bases on Russia’s border in
order to degrade Russia’s nuclear deterrent and force Russia to accept
Washington’s hegemony.
Russia has done nothing but respond in a very low-key way to a major strategic threat orchestrated by Washington.
It is not only Martin and Greenwald who have fallen under
Washington’s propaganda. They are joined by Patrick J. Buchanan. Pat’s
column calling on readers to “resist the war party on Crimea” opens with
Washington’s propagandistic claim: “With Vladimir Putin’s dispatch of

No such dispatch has occurred. Putin has been granted authority by
the Russian Duma to send troops to Ukraine, but Putin has stated
publicly that sending troops would be a last resort to protect Crimean
Russians from invasions by the ultra-nationalist neo-nazis who stole
Washington’s coup and established themselves as the power in Kiev and
western Ukraine.
So, here we have three of the smartest and most independent
journalists of our time, and all three are under the impression created
by Western propaganda that Russia has invaded Ukraine.
It appears that the power of Washington’s propaganda is so great that
not even the best and most independent journalists can escape its
influence.
What chance does truth have when Abby Martin gets kudos from Glenn
Greenwald for denouncing Russia for an alleged “invasion” that has not
taken place, and when independent Pat Buchanan opens his column
dissenting from the blame-Russia-crowd by accepting that an invasion has
taken place?
The entire story that the presstitutes have told about the Ukraine is
a propaganda production. The presstitutes told us that the deposed
president, Viktor Yanukovych, ordered snipers to shoot protesters. On
the basis of these false reports, Washington’s stooges, who comprise the
existing non-government in Kiev, have issued arrest orders for
Yanukovych and intend for him to be tried in an international court. In
an intercepted telephone call between EU foreign affairs minister
Catherine Ashton and Estonian foreign affairs minister Urmas Paet who
had just returned from Kiev, Paet reports: “There is now stronger and
stronger understanding that behind the snipers, it was not Yanukovych,
but it was somebody from the new coalition.” Paet goes on to report
that “all the evidence shows that the people who were killed by snipers
from both sides, among policemen and then people from the streets, that
they were the same snipers killing people from both sides . . . and
it’s really disturbing that now the new coalition, that they don’t want
to investigate what exactly happened.” Ashton, absorbed with EU plans
to guide reforms in Ukraine and to prepare the way for the IMF to gain
control over economic policy, was not particularly pleased to hear
Paet’s report that the killings were an orchestrated provocation. You

What has happened in Ukraine is that Washington plotted against and
overthrew an elected legitimate government and then lost control to
neo-nazis who are threatening the large Russian population in southern
and eastern Ukraine, provinces that formerly were part of Russia. These
threatened Russians have appealed for Russia’s help, and just like the
Russians in South Ossetia, they will receive Russia’s help.
The Obama regime and its presstitutes will continue to lie about everything.

that describes how soldiers are to be trained to put down domestic
disturbances and process prisoners through detainment camps where
prisoners will be re-educated to appreciate US policies. In situations
of “extreme necessity” the training embraces deadly force: “Warning
shot will not be fired. When a firearm is discharged it will be fired
with the intent of rendering the person(s) at whom it is discharged
incapable of continuing that activity or course of behavior.” Lecturers
in the training courses describe constitutionalists as “domestic
extremists.”
Does this make the President of the United States, whose oath of office
is to defend the US Constitution against enemies domestic and foreign, a
domestic extremist? Is the fear of arrest by Homeland Security as a
domestic extremist the reason Obama refuses to defend the Constitution
of the United States?
The Army is being trained for domestic police duties that are in
violation of the Posse Comitatus Act that prevents the use of the
military for domestic law enforcement, another indication that
Washington has no respect for the country’s laws and that Obama and his
“Justice” Department have no intention of enforcing the laws of the land
or abiding by the Constitution.
Where is the media outcry? Where are the law schools? Where is
Congress? A government that disregards the laws of the land is both
treasonous and tyrannical. Yet, not a peep from “the free and the
brave.”
The US government and its puppet auxiliary, the UK government, have
turned with vengeance against whistleblowers and their attorneys.
Bradley Manning is in prison, Julian Assange is confined to the
Ecuadoran Embassy in London, and Edward Snowden is under Russian
protection from a tyrannical US government. Jessellyn Radack, an
attorney who represented Snowden was recently detained and questioned in

The latest revelations of the criminal activities of the Amerikan National Stasi Agency
comes from a leaked NSA document that shows that the Stasi agency
considers WikiLeaks Julian Assange to be a “malicious foreign actor” and
launched “an international effort to focus the legal element of
national power upon non-state actor Assange, and the human network that
supports WikiLeaks.” Clearly, the Gestapo is upon us.
RT reports: “The NSA was not alone in its sweeping espionage on the
whistle-blowing organization. It also enlisted its partners in the Five
Eyes spying network (UK, New Zealand, Australia and Canada) as well as
other nations. In documents dating back from August 2010, the US urged
10 other countries with forces in Afghanistan to consider pressing
criminal charges against Julian Assange -- ‘founder of the rogue
WikiLeaks internet website and responsible for the unauthorized
publication of over 70,000 classified documents covering the war in

In other words, freedom of the press? We don’t need no stinking freedom
of the press. We have the presstitute press--the TV networks, the New
York Times, Washington Post, National Public Radio, and all the rest of
the officially sanctioned state Ministry of Propaganda.
Julian Assange stated, correctly, “The NSA and its UK accomplices show no respect for the rule of law.”
WikiLeaks’ attorney, Judge Baltasar Garzon, the pursuer of Pinochet, had this to say:

being treated as a threat instead of what they are: a journalist and a
media organization that are exercising their fundamental right to

What has happened that explains the transformation of the UK and all of
its former English colonies--the US, Canada, Australia, New
Zealand--into Gestapo Stasi states? These are the countries best known
historically for their domestic civil liberties and rule of law,
irrespective of their treatment of their indigenous populations and in
the case of England her non-white colonies. The original dispossession
was of indigenous peoples. Now these governments have turned on their
own.Today the governments of the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and New
Zealand (the Five Eyes) see civil liberty and the accountability of
government to law as threats to themselves, and the governments are
determined to stamp out the threats. The historical lands of liberty
have abandoned liberty and become Stasi states.
What has occurred in the US and UK is that the criminal and treasonous
acts of both governments have become so extreme that the governments
must destroy civil liberty in order to protect themselves from exposure.

The criminal character of both US and UK governments is now recognized
by the rest of the world, even by the bought-and-paid-for NATO puppet

communication network in order to protect Europeans’ communications
from the NSA and from Google, Facebook, and other US communication
companies that shamelessly cooperate with NSA’s spy network as junior
members of the Stasi. Brazil and South America are facing the same
challenge of protecting their communications from Washington’s National
Stasi Agency.
NSA spies on foreign companies for the benefit of American ones, and it
spies on US law firms representing clients against the US government.
The New York Times recently reported that the corrupt Australian puppet
state has been working with NSA to steal the private communications of
US lawyers with their clients in the Indonesian government involved in a

American journalist Chris Hedges has identified, a corporate
totalitarian core thrives inside a fictitious democratic shell. This
core yields an ‘inverted’ totalitarian state that few recognize because
it does not look like the Orwellian world of Nineteen Eighty-four.This
corporate totalitarian core is spreading outward from America. Planet
Earth is being rapidly militarized by the world’s major and significant

This is a very large production for a hoax. An amazing amount of
creativity and production effort went into it. Increasingly, our reality
is composed of invented news, whether from the government or the
Internet.
By cutting off Lorde’s speech, the media moguls are shown proving the
truth of her words. Americans must not hear. The dolts might wake up.
Americans should take note that in fact the media is on guard, prepared
at an instance’s notice to suppress free speech. Washington is ever so
pleased to support protesters in Ukraine, who are witlessly helping
Washington to subvert their country, but no protests at home thank you.
If the Lorde story is a hoax, it nevertheless captures the truth of the
situation. And in more ways than one. As one reader put it, "the
