Bomb-sniffing dogs work infinitely better than any high tech/high cost/high scam device...
That's why the FBI uses them to protect its own headquarters and why the US military uses them in Iraq and Afghanistan under the most hazardous and hostile conditions imaginable.
We are being irradiated, lied to and put in real danger so Michael Chertoff and his friends in Homeland Security can rip us off. Meanwhile, Obama tells us it's for our safety.
Meanwhile, the news media - including the alternative news media - has completely overlooked the facts reported in this video.

Great video. Given that a would-be terrorist can opt out of scanning for a pat-down, and given that the pat-downs are not body cavity searches, obviously the whole program is a useless hoax. But the bigger picture is that airplanes are not the only possible targets. Why not scan people entering movie theaters or sports arenas? What about our food sources? Moving to an even bigger picture, the answer to defusing terrorism would be to start to win hearts and minds --- an utterly vague and meaningless aphorism so far. It will begin when a leader emerges who can ask the other side to put their argument into words, perhaps on a world stage. Then a challenge of ideas can unfold.
Well, Ken, they have been talking about using scanners and gropers at movie theaters and sporting events -- but that would surely fail to win the hearts and minds of the American people once they find out that dogs can do the job far better and cheaper.
A terrorist who is willing to kill themselves doesn't need to get through security. It would be easy to get a big old brick of explosives right up to the security groper/scanner point in a crowded airport and set it off there, killing hundreds and terrorizing millions, and the x-ray wouldn't do a damn bit of good. Same at a stadium event.
Truth is, it's impossible to be 100% safe, but the TSA is trying to sell this as if it is worth it because it will "make us safe". That's the big scam.
I am quite surprised and a lot concerned.. Lets hope we won't have to test it in reality..
