The Israeli agents who comprise the Neoconservatives, a collection of
war criminals that control US foreign policy, have already handed you
your death certificate. The neoconservatives have far more power than
they have intelligence or humanity.
At the recent St. Petersburg International Economic Conference,
President Putin excoriated Western Journalists for endlessly repeating
Washington’s lies that are driving the world to nuclear war. He asked
Washington’s bought-and-paid-for-whores, the scum who comprise the
Western news media: “How do you not understand that the world is being
pulled in an irreversible direction toward nuclear war?”
Yes, indeed, how is it possible for the Western media to be totally
blind? The answer to this question is that Americans live in the system
of lies that comprise The Matrix, and media are paid to support the
system of lies. The determining questions are: Can Americans escape
their captivity in time to save life on earth? Do Americans have what
it takes, or are Americans already a proven failed people who cower in
ignorance under the threat of implausible “foreign threats”?
How much confidence can we place on the intelligence and judgment of
the American people? That remains to be seen. Life on Earth depends on
the American people’s ability to perceive their government as the
greatest threat to their existence.
To make the crisis clear for my readers and for all peoples,
Washington is surrounding Russia with nuclear missile sites that can be
silently converted from ABMs to first strike nuclear missiles that can
reach Russian targets in a mere few minutes. Washington attempted to
disguise this first strike capability with the explanation that the
missiles were there to protect against an Iranian ICBM attack on Europe.
This explanation was given by the US government despite the fact that
everyone knows that Iran has neither ICBMs nor nuclear weapons.
As Putin asked the Western presstitutes, we know and you don’t?
It is dangerous for any writer to assume that intelligence any longer
exists among Western peoples. But assuming that somewhere in the West,
under a rock perhaps or on Tatooine with Obi-Wan Kanobi, a bit of
intelligence and a speck of humanity still exists, the important
question is: Do you believe the Russians will sit there awaiting a
nuclear strike, or will they pre-empt it with a strike of their own?
The fact that the entirely of the US government lacks the intelligence to have asked this question tells us why we are doomed.
As I have previously written, the government in Washington is the
concentration of the entire evil of the universe. No greater danger to
life has ever existed than the government of the United States.
After squandering many of Russia’s opportunities in hopes of
diplomacy, Vladimir Putin now sees the West for what it is: An immoral,
power-crazed entity that will destroy the planet before it gives up its
goal of hegemony over the entirety of the Earth. Why should the
“indispensable, exceptional people” settle for anything less than
hegemony over the world?
The crazed American government drowning in its own hubris has set us
on a course to nuclear war. Can America produce a leader who can
reverse course?
Former Assistant Treasury Secretary Dr. Paul Craig Roberts has a dim
view of the so-called “economic recovery.” Dr. Roberts contends, “There
has been no recovery whatsoever. . . . If you look at the economy
realistically, and that means you don’t use their phony numbers, there
has been no recovery whatsoever and, in fact, it continues to worsen. We
see that the “Labor Force Participation Rate” continues to sink. . . .
When you consider the full measure of unemployment . . . we still have
an unemployment rate of 23% after 7 years of an alleged recovery? I
think this is the first so-called recovery where the labor force fell. Normally,
when you have a recovery, people re-enter the labor force and the
participation rate rises. . . . How do you have 5% unemployment when
half of all 25 year old people have to live at home with their parents?
What kind of a “recovery” is that? They say there is no inflation, but
everyone that goes shopping knows that is a lie. . . . It’s all just a
package of smoke, mirrors and lies.”
Don’t expect this to turn around anytime
soon. Dr. Roberts says, “There is no opportunity for the middle-class.
It must be shrinking. I would say the U.S. economy is in long-term
decline. Rigging the way you measure inflation, rigging the way you
measure unemployment, that may fool ordinary people, but that does not
fool those of us who look at the numbers.”
On war, Dr. Roberts’ view is dire and goes on to explain, “Everything
that previous presidents have done to try to defuse the kind of
tensions between nuclear powers that could lead to war, all this has
been thrown away by Clinton, George W. Bush and the current White House
fool. It’s all due to the Neoconservatives. So, yes, we are in a more
dangerous situation than in the worst part of the cold war. Thanks to
the Neoconservatives and thanks to the American ‘presstitute’ media with
people who lie for a living, we are in more danger than we have ever
been. A war could result, and if it doesn’t, then it’s just because
Putin has got too much sense. I don’t think Putin is going to absorb
these provocations forever, and I don’t think he’s going to put up with
any more nonsense in Ukraine. That was a part of Russia longer than the
United States has existed. . . .Can you imagine anything more insane and
reckless than you go into a part of Russia, that has only been
independent for a few years, and overthrow a democratically elected
government that is getting along with Russia and stick in an American
puppet with all these crazed right-wing Nazi people and cause all this
trouble with Russia and tell endless lies about it? What is more
reckless and irresponsible? That is the way the United States government
is behaving. If you can do things that stupid, you can cause a nuclear

The United States has pursued empire since early in
its history, but it was the Soviet collapse in 1991 that enabled
Washington to see the entire world as its oyster.
The collapse of the Soviet Union resulted in the rise of the
neoconservatives to power and influence in the US government. The
neoconservatives have interpreted the Soviet collapse as History’s
choice of “American democratic capitalism” as the New World Order.
Chosen by History as the exceptional and indispensable country,
Washington claims the right and the responsibility to impose its
hegemony on the world. Neoconservatives regard their agenda to be too
important to be constrained by domestic and international law or by the
interests of other countries. Indeed, as the Unipower, Washington is
required by the neoconservative doctrine to prevent the rise of other
countries that could constrain American power.
Paul Wolfowitz, a leading neoconservative, penned the Wolfowitz
Doctrine shortly after the Soviet collapse. This doctrine is the basis
of US foreign and military policy.
The doctrine states:
“Our first objective is to prevent the re-emergence of a new rival,
either on the territory of the former Soviet Union or elsewhere, that
poses a threat on the order of that posed formerly by the Soviet Union.
This is a dominant consideration underlying the new regional defense
strategy and requires that we endeavor to prevent any hostile power from
dominating a region whose resources would, under consolidated control,
be sufficient to generate global power.”
Notice that Washington’s “first objective” is not peace, not
prosperity, not human rights, not democracy, not justice. Washington’s
“first objective” is world hegemony. Only the very confident so
blatantly reveal their agenda.
As a former member of the Cold War Committee on the Present Danger, I
can explain what Wolfowitz’s words mean. The “threat posed formerly by
the Soviet Union” was the ability of the Soviet Union to block
unilateral US action in some parts of the world. The Soviet Union was a
constraint on US unilateral action, not everywhere but in some places.
Any constraint on Washington is regarded as a threat.
A “hostile power” is a country with an independent foreign policy,
such as the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) have
proclaimed. Iran, Bolivia, Ecuador, Venezuela, Argentina, Cuba, and
North Korea also proclaim an independent foreign policy.
This is too much independence for Washington to stomach. As Russian
President Vladimir Putin recently stated, “Washington doesn’t want
partners. Washington wants vassals.”
The Wolfowitz doctrine requires Washington to dispense with or
overthrow governments that do not acquiesce to Washington’s will. It
is the “first objective.”
The collapse of the Soviet Union resulted in Boris Yeltsin becoming
president of a dismembered Russia. Washington became accustomed to
Yeltsin’s compliance and absorbed itself in its Middle Eastern wars,
expecting Vladimir Putin to continue Russia’s vassalage.
However at the 43rd Munich Conference on Security Policy, Putin
said: “I consider that the unipolar model is not only unacceptable but
also impossible in today’s world.”
Putin went on to say:
“We are seeing a greater and greater disdain for the basic principles of
international law, and independent legal norms are, as a matter of
fact, coming increasingly closer to one state’s legal system. One state
and, of course, first and foremost the United States, has overstepped
its national borders in every way. This is visible in the economic,
political, cultural and educational policies it imposes on other
nations. Well, who likes this? Who is happy about this?”
When Putin issued this fundamental challenge to US unipower,
Washington was preoccupied with its lack of success with its invasions
of Afghanistan and Iraq. Mission was not accomplished.
By 2014 it had come to Washington’s attention that while Washington
was blowing up weddings, funerals, village elders, and children’s soccer
games in the Middle East, Russia had achieved independence from
Washington’s control and presented itself as a formidable challenge to
Washington’s uni-power. Putin blocked Obama’s planned invasion of Syria
and bombing of Iran.
The unmistakable rise of Russia refocused Washington from the Middle East to Russia’s vulnerabilities.
Ukraine, long a constituent part of Russia and subsequently the
Soviet Union, was split off from Russia in the wake of the Soviet
collapse by Washington’s maneuvering. In 2004 Washington had tried to
capture Ukraine in the Orange Revolution, which failed to deliver
Ukraine into Washington’s hands. Consequently, according to neocon
Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland, Washington spent $5
billion over the following decade developing Ukrainian non-governmental
organizations (NGOs) that could be called into the streets of Kiev and
in developing Ukrainian political leaders willing to represent
Washington’s interests.
Washington launched its coup in February 2014 with orchestrated
demonstrations that, with the addition of violence, resulted in the
overthrow and flight of the elected democratic government of Victor
Yanukovych. In other words, Washington destroyed democracy in a new
country with a coup before democracy could take root.
Ukrainian democracy meant nothing to Washington. Washington was
intent on seizing Ukraine in order to present Russia with a security
problem and also to justify sanctions against “Russian aggression” in
order to break up Russia’s growing economic and political relationships
with Europe. Washington feared that these relationships could undermine
Washington’s hold on Europe.
Sanctions are contrary to Europe’s interests. Nevertheless European
governments accommodated Washington’s agenda. The reason was explained
to me several decades ago by my Ph.D. dissertation committee chairman
who became Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security
Affairs. I had the opportunity to ask him how Washington managed to
have foreign governments act in Washington’s interest rather than in the
interest of their own countries. He said, “money.” I said, “you mean
foreign aide?” He said, “no, we give the politicians bags full of
money. They belong to us. They answer to us.”
Recently, the German journalist Udo Ulfkotte wrote a book, Bought
Journalists, in which he reported that every significant European
journalist functions as a CIA asset.
This does not surprise me. The same is the situation in the US.
As Europe is an appendage of Washington, a collection of vassal states,
Europe enables Washington’s pursuit of hegemony even to the extent of
being driven into conflict with Russia over a “crisis” that is entirely a
propaganda creation of Washington’s.
The media disguises the reality. During the Clinton regime, six
mega-media companies were permitted to acquire 90% of the US print, TV,
radio, and entertainment media, a concentration that destroyed diversity
and independence. Today the media throughout the Western world serves
as a Propaganda Ministry for Washington. The Western media is
Washington’s Ministry of Truth. Gerald Celente, the trends forecaster,
calls the Western media “presstitutes,” a combination of press
prostitutes.
In the US Putin and Russia are demonized around the clock. Every
broadcast alerts us to “the Russian threat.” Even Putin’s facial
expressions are psychologically analyzed. Putin is the New Hitler. Putin
has ambitions to recreate the Soviet empire. Putin invaded Ukraine.
Putin is going to invade the Baltic states and Poland. Putin is a threat
on the level of ebola and the Islamist State. US Russian experts, such
as Stephen Cohen, who state the facts are dismissed as “Putin
apologists.” Any and every one who takes exception to the anti-Putin,
anti-Russian propaganda is branded a “Putin apologist,” just as 9/11
skeptics are dismissed as “conspiracy theorists.” In the Western world,
the few truth-tellers are demonized along with Putin and Russia.
The world should take note that today, right now, Truth is the most
unwelcome presence in the Western world. No one wants to hear it in
Washington, London, Tokyo, or in any of the political capitals of
Washington’s empire.
The majority of the American population has fallen for the
anti-Russian propaganda, just as they fell for “Saddam Hussein’s weapons
of mass destruction,” “Assad’s use of chemical weapons against his own
people,” Iranian nukes,” the endless lies about Gaddafi, 9/11, shoe
bombers, underwear bombers, shampoo and bottled water bombers. There is
always a new lie to keep the fear factor working for Washington’s
endless wars and police state measures that enrich the rich and
impoverish the poor.
The gullibility of the public has enabled Washington to establish the
foundation for a new Cold War or for a preemptive nuclear strike on
Russia. Some neoconservatives prefer the latter. They believe nuclear
war can be won, and they ask, “What is the purpose of nuclear weapons if
they cannot be used?”
China is the other rising power that the Wolfowitz Doctrine requires
to be constrained. Washington’s “pivot to Asia” creates new naval and
air bases to control China and perpetuate Washington’s hegemony in the
South China Sea.
We come to the bottom line. Washington’s position is not negotiable.
Washington has no interest in compromising with Russia or China.
Washington has no interest in any facts. Washington’s deal is this:
“You can be part of our world order as our vassals, but not otherwise.”
European governments and, of course, the lapdog UK government, are
complicit in this implicit declaration of war against Russia and China.
If it comes to war, Europeans will pay the ultimate price for the
treason of their leaders, such as Merkel, Cameron, and Hollande, as
Europe will cease to exist.
War with Russia and China is beyond Washington’s capability.
However, if the demonized “enemy” does not succumb to the pressure and
accept Washington’s leadership, war can be inevitable. Washington has
launched an attack. How does Washington back off? Don’t expect any
American regime to say, “we made a mistake. Let’s work this out.” Every
one of the announced candidates for the American presidency is committed
to American hegemony and war.
Washington believes Russia can be isolated from the West and that
this isolation will motivate those secularized and westernized elements
in Russia, who desire to be part of the West, into more active
opposition against Putin. The Saker calls these Russians “Atlanticist
integrationists.”
After two decades of Russia being infiltrated by Washington’s NGO
Fifth Columns, the Russian government has finally taken action to
regulate the hundreds of Western-financed NGOs inside Russia that
comprise Washington’ subversion of the Russian government. However,
Washington still hopes to use sanctions to cause enough disruption of
economic life within Russia to be able to send protesters into the
streets. Regime change, as in Ukraine, is one of Washington’s tools.
In China the US organized the Hong Kong “student” riots, which
Washington hopes will spread into China, and Washington supports the
independence of the Muslim population in the Chinese province that
borders Kazakhstan.
The problem with a government in the control of an ideology is that
ideology and not reason drives the action of the government. As the
majority of Western populations lack the interest to search for
independent explanations, the populations impose no constraint on
governments.
To understand Washington, go online and read the neoconservative
documents and position papers. You will see an agenda unconstrained by
law, by morality, by compassion, by common sense. You will see an agenda
of evil.
Who is Obama’s Assistant Secretary of State for the Ukrainian part of
the world? It is the neoconservative Victoria Nuland who organized the
Ukrainian coup, who put in office the new puppet government, who is
married to the even more extreme neoconservative, Robert Kagan.
Who is Obama’s National Security advisor? It is Susan Rice, a neoconservative.
Who is Obama’s Ambassador to the UN? It is Samantha Power, a neoconservative.
Now we turn to material interests. The neoconservative agenda of
world hegemony serves the powerful military/security complex whose one
trillion dollar annual budget depends on war, hot or cold.
The agenda of American hegemony serves the interests of Wall Street
and the mega-banks. As Washington’s power and influence spreads, so
does American financial imperialism. So does the reach of American oil
companies and American agribusiness corporations such as Monsanto.
Washington’s hegemony means that US corporations get to loot the rest of the world.
The danger of the neoconservative ideology is that it is in perfect
harmony with powerful economic interests. In the US the left-wing has
made itself impotent. It believes all the foundational government lies
that have given America a police/warfare state incapable of producing
alternative leadership. The American left, what little remains, for
emotional reasons believes the government’s 9/11 story. The
anti-religious left-wing believes the threat posed to free thought by a
Christian Russia. The left-wing, convinced that Americans are racists,
believes the government’s account of the assassinations of Martin Luther
King.
The left-wing accepts the government’s transparent 9/11 fable,
because it is emotionally important to the American left that oppressed
peoples strike back. For the American left, it is emotionally
satisfying that the Middle East, long oppressed and exploited by the
French, British and Americans, struck back and humiliated the Unipower
in the 9/11 attack.
This emotional need is so powerful for the left that it blinds the
left-wing to the improbability of a few Saudi Arabians, who could not
fly airplanes, outwitting not merely the FBI, CIA, and NSA, which spies
on the entire world, but as well all 16 US intelligence agencies and the
intelligence agencies of Washington’s NATO vassal states and Israel’s
Mossad, which has infiltrated every terrorist organization, including
those created by Washington itself.
Somehow these Saudis were able to also outwit NORAD, airport
security, causing security to fail four times in one hour on the same
day. They were able to prevent for the first time ever the US Air Force
from intercepting the hijacked airliners. Air traffic control somehow
lost the hijacked airliners on radar. Two airliners crashed, one into
the Pennsylvania country side and one into the Pentagon without leaving
any debris. The passport of the leader of the attack, Mohammed Atta was
reported to be found as the only undamaged element in the debris of the
World Trade Center towers. The story of the passport was so preposterous
that it had to be changed.
This implausible account did not raise any eyebrows in the tame Western print and TV media.
The right-wing is obsessed with immigration of darker-skinned
peoples, and 9/11 has become an argument against immigration. The
left-wing awaits the oppressed to strike back against their oppressors.
The 9/11 fable survives as it serves the interests of both left and
right.
I can tell you for a fact that if American national security had so
totally failed as it is represented to have failed by the official
explanation of 9/11, the White House, the Congress, the media would have
been screaming for an investigation. Heads would have rolled in
agencies that permitted such massive failure of the national security
state. The embarrassment of a Superpower being so easily attacked and
humiliated by a handful of Arabs acting independently of any
intelligence agency would have created an uproar demanding
accountability.
Instead, the White House resisted any investigation for one year.
Under pressure from the 9/11 families who lost family members in the
World Trade Center Towers, the White House created a political
commission consisting of politicians managed by the White House. The
commission sat and listened to the government’s account and wrote it
down. This is not an investigation.
In the United States the left-wing is focused on demonizing Ronald
Reagan, who had nothing whatsoever to do with any of this. The
left-wing hates Reagan because he had to use anti-communist rhetoric in
order to keep his electoral basis while he strove to end the Cold War in
the face of the powerful opposition of the military/security complex.
Is the left-wing more effective in Europe? Not that I can see. Look
at Greece for example. The Greek people are driven into the ground by
the EU, the IMF, the German and Dutch banks and the New York hedge
funds. Yet, when presented with candidates who promise to resist the
looting of Greece, the Greek voters give the candidates a mere 36% of
the vote, enough to form a government, but not enough to have any clout
with creditors.
Having hamstrung their government with such low electoral support,
the Greek people further impose impotence on their government by
demanding to remain in the EU. If leaving the EU is not a realistic
threat, the Greek government has no negotiating power.
Obviously, the Greek population is so throughly brainwashed about the
necessity of being part of the EU that the population is willing to be
economically dispossessed rather than to leave the EU. Thus Greeks have
forfeited their sovereignty and independence. A country without its own
money is not, and cannot be, an independent country.
Once European intellectuals signed off on the EU, they committed
nations to vassalage, both to the EU bureaucrats and to Washington.
Consequently, European nations are not independent and cannot exercise
an independent foreign policy.
Their impotence means that Washington can drive them to war. To fully
understand the impotence of Europe look at France. The only leader in
Europe worthy of the name is Marine Le Pen. Having said this, I am
immediately denounced by the European left as a fascist, a racist, and
so forth. This only shows the knee-jerk response of the European left.
It is not I who shares Le Pen’s views on immigration. It is the
French people. Le Pen’s party won the recent EU elections. What Le Pen
stands for is French independence from the EU. The majority of French
see themselves as French and want to remain French with their own laws
and customs. Only Le Pen among European politicians has stated the
obvious: “The Americans are taking us to war!”
Despite the French desire for independence, the French will elect Le
Pen’s party to the EU but will not give it the vote to be the government
of France. The French deny themselves their independence, because they
are heavily conditioned by brainwashing, much coming from the left, and
are ashamed to be racists, fascists, and whatever epithets have been
assigned to Le Pen’s political party, a party that stands for the
independence of France.
The European left-wing, once a progressive force, even a
revolutionary one, has become a reactionary force. It is the same in
the US. I say this as one of CounterPunch’s popular contributors.
The inability even of intellectuals to recognize and accept reality
means that restraints on neoconservatives are nowhere present except
within Russia and China. The West is impotent to prevent Armageddon.
It is up to Russia and China, and as Washington has framed the dilemma,
Armageddon can only be prevented by Russia and China accepting vassal
status.
I don’t believe this is going to happen. Why would any self-respecting people submit to the corrupt West?
The hope is that Washington will cause its European vassals to rebel
by pushing them too hard into conflict with Russia. The hope that
European countries will be forced into an independent foreign policy
also seems to be the basis of the Russian government’s strategy.
Perhaps intellectuals can help to bring this hope to fruition. If
European politicians were to break from Washington’s hegemony and
instead represent European interests, Washington would be deprived of
cover for its war crimes. Washington’s aggressions would be constrained
by an independent European foreign policy. The breakdown of the
neoconservative unipower model would be apparent even to Washington, and
the world would become a safer and better place.
Just as Karl Marx claimed that History had chosen the proletariat,
neoconservatives claim that History has chosen America. Just as the
Nazis proclaimed “Deutschland uber alles,” neoconservatives proclaim
“America uber alles.” In September 2013 President Obama actually stood
before the United Nations and declared, “I believe America is
exceptional.”
Germany’s political leaders and those in Great Britain, France, and
throughout Europe, Canada, Australia, and Japan also believe that
America is exceptional, which means better than they are. That’s why
these countries are Washington’s vassals. They accept their inferiority
to the Exceptional Country — the USA — and follow its leadership.
It is unlikely that the Chinese think that a handful of White People
are exceptional in anything except their diminutive numbers. The
populations of Asia, Africa, and South America dwarf those that comprise
Washington’s Empire.
Neither do the Russians believe that the US is exceptional. Putin’s
response to Obama’s claim of American superiority was: “God created us
equal.” Putin added: “It is extremely dangerous to encourage people to
see themselves as exceptional, whatever the motivation.”
If all countries are exceptional, the word loses its meaning. If
America is exceptional, it means others are inferior for lacking this
designation. Inferiors have less rights and can be bullied into
submission or bombed into oblivion.
The Exceptional Country is above all the others and, therefore,
doesn’t have to be concerned about how it treats them. Obviously,
Americans and their vassals think America is exceptional as the millions
of people murdered, maimed, and dislocated by Washington’s wars in
eight countries in the 21st century has not resulted in condemnation of
Washington. Merkel, Hollande, Cameron and the puppets in Canada,
Australia, and Japan still suck up, holding tight to Washington.
Instead, Russia and Iran, countries that, unlike the US, are not
militarily aggressive, are portrayed in the White People’s Media as
threats and are condemned.
The White Media claims, and has claimed since February 2014, that
there are Russian tanks and troops in Ukraine. Putin has pointed out
that if this indeed was the case, Kiev and Western Ukraine would have
fallen to the Russian invasion early last year. Kiev has been unable to
defeat the small breakaway republics in eastern and southern Ukraine and
would stand no chance against the Russian military.
Recently a brave news organization made fun of the White Media’s
claim that Russian tanks have been pouring into Ukraine for 14 months.
The parody pictured Ukraine at a standstill. All traffic on all roads
and residential streets is blocked by Russian tanks. All parking places,
including sidewalks and people’s front and rear gardens have tanks
piled upon tanks. The entire country is immobilized in gridlock.
Although a few have fun making fun of the gullible people who believe
the White Media, the situation is nevertheless serious as it concerns
life on planet Earth.
There is little sign that Washington and its vassals care about life
on Earth. Recently, the largest political group in the European
Parliament–the European People’s Party–expressed a cavalier opinion
about life on Earth. We know this, because, if we can trust Euractive,
an online EU news source, the majority EU party believes that declaring
the EU’s readiness for nuclear war is one of the best steps to deter

The aggression to be stopped by Europe’s declaration of its readiness
for armageddon is the alleged Russian invasion of Ukraine, and the
“further aggression” is Putin’s alleged intention of reestablishing the
Soviet Empire.
It must be disappointing to the Russian government to see that
leaders of the European Union prefer to endorse nuclear war than to
challenge Washington’s propaganda.
When I read that the governing party in the European Parliament
thought non-existent aggression had to be stopped by a declaration of
readiness for nuclear war, I realized that money could buy any and
every thing, even the life of the planet. The European People’s Party
was speaking in behalf of Washington’s propaganda, not in behalf of
Europe. Europe’s nuclear war with Russia would end instantly with the
destruction of every European capital.
The crazed vice-president of the European People’s Party, Jacek
Saryusz-Wolski revealed who the real aggressor is when he declared:
“Time of talk and persuasion with Russia is over. Now it’s time for a
tough policy.”
Clearly, the European Parliament is a great danger to life on the
planet. Is it realistic to think that Russia will allow herself to
become a concubine of Washington?
On occasion a reader will ask if I can give readers some good news.
The answer is: not unless I lie to you like “your” government and the
mainstream media do. If you want faked “good news,” you need to retreat
into The Matrix. In exchange for less stress and worry, you will be
led unknowingly into financial ruin and nuclear armageddon.
If you want to be forewarned, and possibly prepared, for what “your”
government is bringing you, and have some small chance of redirecting
the course of events, read and support this site. It is your site. I
already know these things. I write for you.
The neoconservatives, a small group of warmongers strongly allied
with the military/industrial complex and Israel, gave us Granada and the
Contras affair in Nicaragua. President Reagan fired them, and they were
prosecuted, but subsequently pardoned by Reagan’s successor, George
H.W. Bush.
Ensconced in think tanks and protected by Israeli and
military/security complex money, the neoconservatives reemerged in the
Clinton administration and engineered the breakup of Yugoslavia, the war
against Serbia, and the expansion of NATO to Russia’s borders.
Neoconservatives dominated the George W. Bush regime. They controlled
the Pentagon, the National Security Council, the Office of the Vice
President, and much else. Neoconservatives gave us 9/11 and its
coverup, the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq, the beginning of the
destabilizations of Pakistan and Yemen, the U.S. Africa Command, the
invasion of South Ossetia by Georgia, the demise of the anti-ABM Treaty,
unconstitutional and illegal spying on American citizens without
warrants, loss of constitutional protections, torture, and the
unaccountability of the executive branch to law, Congress, and the
judiciary. In short, the neoconservatives laid the foundation for
dictatorship and for WW III.
The Obama regime held no one accountable for the crimes of the Bush
regime, thus creating the precedent that the executive branch is above
the law. Instead, the Obama regime prosecuted whistleblowers who told
the truth about government crimes.
Neoconservatives remain very influential in the Obama regime. As
examples, Obama appointed neoconservative Susan Rice as his National
Security Advisor. Obama appointed neoconservative Samantha Power as
U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations. Obama appointed neoconservative
Victoria Nuland as Assistant Secretary of State. Nuland’s office,
working with the CIA and Washington-financed NGOs, organized the U.S.
coup in Ukraine.
Neoconservatism is the only extant political ideology. The ideology
is “America uber alles.” Neoconservatives believe that History has
chosen the United States to exercise hegemony over the world, thereby
making the U.S. “exceptional” and “indispensable.” Obama himself has
declared as much. This ideology gives neoconservatives tremendous
confidence and drive, just as Karl Marx’s conclusion that history had
chosen the workers to be the ruling class gave early communists
confidence and drive.
This confidence and drive makes the neoconservatives reckless.
To advance their agenda neoconservatives propagandize the populations
of the U.S. and Washington’s vassal states. The presstitutes deliver
the neoconservatives’ lies to the unsuspecting public: Russia has
invaded and annexed Ukrainian provinces; Putin intends to reconstitute
the Soviet Empire; Russia is a gangster state without democracy; Russia
is a threat to the Baltics, Poland, and all of Europe, necessitating a
U.S./NATO military buildup on Russia’s borders; China, a Russian ally,
must be militarily contained with new U.S. naval and air bases
surrounding China and controlling Chinese sea lanes.
The neoconservatives and President Obama have made it completely
clear that the U.S. will not accept Russia and China as sovereign
countries with economic and foreign policies independent of the
interests of Washington. Russia and China are acceptable only as vassal
states, like the UK, Europe, Japan, Canada, and Australia.
Clearly, the neoconservative formula is a formula for the final war.
All of humanity is endangered by a handful of evil men and women ensconced in positions of power in Washington.
Anti-Russia propaganda has gone into high gear. Putin is the “new Hitler.”

explanations. Even Henry Kissinger is under attack for stating the
obvious truth that Russia has a legitimate interest in Ukraine, a land
long part of Russia and located in Russia’s legitimate sphere of
influence.
Since the Clinton regime, Washington has been acting against Russian
interests. In his forthcoming book, The Globalization of War: America’s
Long War against Humanity, Professor Michel Chossudovsky presents a
realistic appraisal of how close Washington has brought the world to its
demise in nuclear war. This passage is from the Preface:
“The ‘globalization of war’ is a hegemonic project. Major military
and covert intelligence operations are being undertaken
simultaneously in the Middle East, Eastern Europe, sub-Saharan
Africa, Central Asia and the Far East. The US military agenda
combines both major theater operations as well as covert actions
geared towards destabilizing sovereign states.
“Under a global military agenda, the actions undertaken by the
Western military alliance (US-NATO-Israel) in Afghanistan, Pakistan,
Palestine, Ukraine, Syria and Iraq are coordinated at the highest
levels of the military hierarchy. We are not dealing with
piecemeal military and intelligence operations. The July-August
2014 attack on Gaza by Israeli forces was undertaken in close consultation
with the United States and NATO. In turn, the actions in
Ukraine and their timing coincided with the onslaught of the attack
on Gaza.
“In turn, military undertakings are closely coordinated with a
process of economic warfare which consists not only in imposing
sanctions on sovereign countries but also in deliberate acts of destabilization
of financial and currency markets, with a view to undermining
the enemies’ national economies.
“The United States and its allies have launched a military adventure
which threatens the future of humanity. As we go to press, US
and NATO forces have been deployed in Eastern Europe. US military
intervention under a humanitarian mandate is proceeding in sub-Saharan
Africa. The US and its allies are threatening China under President Obama’s
‘Pivot to Asia’.
“In turn, military maneuvers are being conducted at Russia’s
doorstep which could lead to escalation.
“The US airstrikes initiated in September 2014 directed against
Iraq and Syria under the pretext of going after the Islamic State are
part of a scenario of military escalation extending from North Africa
and the Eastern Mediterranean to Central and South Asia.
The Western military alliance is in an advanced state of readiness.
“And so is Russia.”
As I have often remarked, Americans are an insouciant people. They
are simply unaware. Suppose they were aware, suppose that the entire
population understood the peril, could anything be done, or have the
insouciant Americans fallen under the control of the police state that
Washington has created?
I don’t think there is much hope from the American people. The
American people cannot tell genuine from fake leadership, and the ruling
private elites will not permit real leaders to emerge. Moreover, there
is no organized movement in opposition to the neoconservatives.
The hope comes from outside the political system. The hope is that
the House of Cards and rigged markets erected by policymakers for the
benefit of the One Percent collapses. David Stockman regards this
outcome as a highly likely one. The collapse that Stockman sees as being
on its way is the same collapse about which I have warned. Moreover,
the number of Black Swans which can originate collapse are even more
numerous than the ones Stockman correctly identifies. Some financial
organizations are worried about a lack of liquidity in the fixed income
(bonds) and derivatives markets. Barbara Novack, co-chair of Black
Rock, is lobbying hard for a derivatives bailout mechanism.
Many will ask: If the wealth of the One Percent is vulnerable to
economic collapse, will war be initiated to protect this wealth and to
blame the Russians or Chinese for the hardships that engulf the American
population? My answer is that the kind of collapse that I expect, and
that David Stockman and no doubt others expect, presents government with
such social, political, and economic insecurity that organizing for a
major war becomes impossible.
Whereas the political impotence of the American people and the
vassalage of the Western World impose no constraints on Washington,
economic collapse brings revolutions and the demise of the existing
order.
As hard as collapse would make it for people to survive, the chances for survival are higher than in the event of nuclear war.
I wish I had only good news to bring to readers, or even one item of
good news. Alas, goodness has ceased to be a feature of US policy and
simply cannot be found in any words or deeds emanating from Washington
or the capitals of its European vassal states. The Western World has
succumbed to evil.
US war doctrine has been changed. US nuclear weapons are no longer
restricted to a retaliatory force, but have been elevated to the role of
preemptive nuclear attack. Washington pulled out of the Anti-Ballistic
Missile Treaty with Russia and is developing and deploying an ABM
shield. Washington is demonizing Russia and Russia’s President with
shameless lies and propaganda, thus preparing the populations of the US
and its client states for war with Russia.
Washington has been convinced by neoconservatives that Russian
strategic nuclear forces are in run down and unprepared condition and
are sitting ducks for attack. This false belief is based on out-of-date
information, a decade old, such as the argument presented in “The Rise
of U.S. Nuclear Primacy” by Keir A. Lieber and Daryl G. Press in the

Regardless of the condition of Russian nuclear forces, the success of
Washington’s first strike and degree of protection provided by

In an article published in the December 2008 issue of Physics Today,
three atmospheric scientists point out that even the substantial
reduction in nuclear arsenals that the Strategic Offensive Reductions
Treaty hoped to achieve, from 70,000 warheads in 1986 to 1700-2200
warheads by the end of 2012, did not reduce the threat that nuclear war
presents to life on earth. The authors conclude that in addition to the
direct blast effects of hundreds of millions of human fatalities, “the
indirect effects would likely eliminate the majority of the human

Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev understood this. Unfortunately,
no successor US government has. As far as Washington is concerned, death
is what happens to others, not to “the exceptional people.” (The SORT

Peace Research Institute, the nine nuclear-armed states still possess a

It is a fact that Washington has policymakers who think, incorrectly,
that nuclear war is winnable and who regard nuclear war as a means of
preventing the rise of Russia and China as checks on Washington’s
hegemony over the world. The US government, regardless of party in
office, is a massive threat to life on earth. European governments,
which think of themselves as civilized, are not, because they enable
Washington’s pursuit of hegemony. It is this pursuit that threatens
life with extinction. The ideology that grants “exceptional,
indispensable America” supremacy is an enormous threat to the world.
The destruction of seven countries in whole or in part by the West in
the 21st century, with the support of “Western civilization” and the
Western media, comprises powerful evidence that the leadership of the
Western world is devoid of moral conscience and human compassion. Now
that Washington is armed with its false doctrine of “nuclear primacy,”
the outlook for humanity is very bleak.
Washington has begun the run up to the Third World War, and Europeans
seem to be on board. As recently as November 2012 NATO Secretary
General Rasmussen said that NATO does not regard Russia as an enemy.
Now that the White House Fool and his European vassals have convinced
Russia that the West is an enemy, Rasmussen declared that “we must adapt
to the fact that Russia now considers us its adversary” by beefing up
Ukraine’s military along with those of Eastern and Central Europe.
Last month Alexander Vershbow, former US ambassador to Russia,
currently NATO Deputy Secretary General, declared Russia to be the enemy
and said that the American and European taxpayers need to fork over for
the military modernization “not just of Ukraine, but also Moldova,
Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan.”
It is possible to see these calls for more military spending as just
the normal functioning of agents for the US military/security complex.
Having lost “the war on terror” in Iraq and Afghanistan, Washington
needs a replacement and has set about resurrecting the Cold War.
This is probably how the armaments industry, its shills, and part of
Washington sees it. But the neoconservatives are more ambitious. They
are not pursuing merely more profits for the military/security complex.
Their goal is Washington’s hegemony over the world, which means
reckless actions such as the strategic threat that the Obama regime,
with the complicity of its European vassals, has brought to Russia in
Ukraine.
Since last autumn the US government has been lying through its teeth
about Ukraine, blaming Russia for the consequences of Washington’s
actions, and demonizing Putin exactly as Washington demonized Gaddafi,
Saddam Hussein, Assad, the Taliban, and Iran. The presstitute media and
the European capitals have seconded the lies and propaganda and repeat
them endlessly. Consequently, the US public’s attitude toward Russia
moved sharply negative.
How do you think Russia and China see this? Russia has witnessed
NATO brought to its borders, a violation of the Reagan-Gorbachev
understandings. Russia has witnessed the US pull out of the ABM treaty
and develop a “star wars” shield. (Whether or not the shield would work
is immaterial. The purpose of the shield is to convince the politicians
and the public that Americans are safe.) Russia has witnessed
Washington change the role of nuclear weapons in its war doctrine from
deterrent to preemptive first strike. And now Russia listens to a daily
stream of lies from the West and witnesses the slaughter by
Washington’s vassal in Kiev of civilians in Russian Ukraine, branded
“terrorists” by Washington, by such weapons as white phosphorus with not
a peep of protest from the West.
Massive attacks by artillery and air strikes on homes and apartments
in Russian Ukraine were conducted on the 25th anniversary of Tiananmen
Square, while Washington and its puppets condemned China for an event
that did not happen. As we now know, there was no massacre in Tiananmen
Square. It was just another Washington lie like Tonkin Gulf, Saddam
Hussein’s weapons of mass destruction, Assad’s use of chemical weapons,
Iranian nukes, etc. It is an amazing fact that the world lives in a
false reality created by Washington’s lies.
The movie, The Matrix, is a true depiction of life in the West. The
population lives in a false reality created for them by their rulers. A
handful of humans have escaped the false existence and are committed to
bringing humans back to reality. They rescue Neo, “The One,” who they
believe correctly to have the power to free humans from the false
reality in which they live. Morpheus, the leader of the rebels, explains
to Neo:
“The Matrix is a system, Neo. That system is our enemy. But when
you’re inside, you look around, what do you see? Businessmen, teachers,
lawyers, carpenters. The very minds of the people we are trying to save.
But until we do, these people are still a part of that system, and that
makes them our enemy. You have to understand, most of these people are
not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured, so hopelessly
dependent on the system, that they will fight to protect it.”
I experience this every time I write a column. Protests from those
determined not to be unplugged arrive in emails and on those websites
that expose their writers to slander by government trolls in comment
sections. Don’t believe real reality, they insist, believe the false
reality.
The Matrix even encompasses part of the Russian and Chinese
population, especially those educated in the West and those susceptible
to Western propaganda, but on the whole those populations know the
difference between lies and truth. The problem for Washington is that
the propaganda that prevails over the Western peoples does not prevail
over the Russian and Chinese governments.
How do you think China reacts when Washington declares the South
China Sea to be an area of US national interests, allocates 60 percent
of its vast fleet to the Pacific, and constructs new US air and naval
bases from the Philippines to Vietnam?
Suppose all Washington intends is to keep taxpayer funding alive for
the military/security complex which launders some of the taxpayers’
money and returns it as political campaign contributions. Can Russia
and China take the risk of viewing Washington’s words and deeds in this
limited way?
So far the Russians, and only the Russians (and Chinese), have
remained sensible. Lavrov, the Foreign Minister said: “At this stage, we
want to give our partners a chance to calm down. We’ll see what happens
next. If absolutely baseless accusations against Russia continue, it
there are attempts to pressure us with economic leverage, then we may
reevaluate the situation.”
If the White House Fool, Washington’s media whores and European
vassals convince Russia that war is in the cards, war will be in the
cards. As there is no prospect whatsoever of NATO being able to mount a
conventional offensive threat against Russia anywhere near the size and
power of the German invasion force in 1941 that met with destruction,
the war will be nuclear, which will mean the end of all of us.
Keep that firmly in mind as Washington and its media whores continue
to beat the drums for war. Keep in mind also that a long history proves
beyond all doubt that everything Washington and the presstitute media
tells you is a lie serving an undeclared agenda. You cannot rectify the
situation by voting Democrat instead of Republican or by voting
Republican instead of Democrat.
Thomas Jefferson told us his solution: “The tree of liberty must be
refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. It
is its natural manure.”
There are few patriots in Washington but many tyrants.
Too Many Years Of Lies from Mossadeq to 9/11 Paul Craig Roberts Washington has been at war for 12 years. According to experts such
as Joseph Stiglitz and Linda Bilmes, these wars have cost Americans
approximately $6 trillion, enough to keep Social Security and Medicare
sound for years. All there is to show for 12 years of war is fat bank
balances for the armament industries and a list of destroyed countries
with millions of dead and dislocated people who never lifted a hand
against the United States. The cost paid by American troops and taxpayers is extreme. Secretary
of Veteran Affairs Erik Shinseki reported in November 2009 that “more
veterans have committed suicide since 2001 than we have lost on the
battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan.” Many thousands of our troops
have suffered amputations and traumatic brain injuries. At the Marine
Corps War College Jim Lacey calculated that the annual cost of the
Afghan war was $1.5 billion for each al-Qaeda member in Afghanistan.
Many US and coalition troops paid with their lives for every one
al-Qaeda member killed. On no basis has the war ever made sense. Washington’s wars have destroyed the favorable image of the United
States created over the decades of the cold war. No longer the hope of
mankind, the US today is viewed as a threat whose government cannot be
trusted. The wars that have left America’s reputation in tatters are the
consequence of 9/11. The neoconservatives who advocate America’s
hegemony over the world called for “a new Pearl Harbor” that would allow
them to launch wars of conquest. Their plan for conquering the Middle
East as their starting point was set out in the neoconservative
“Project for the New American Century.” It was stated clearly by
Commentary editor Norman Podhoretz and also by many neoconservatives. The neocon argument boils down to a claim that history has chosen
“democratic capitalism” and not Karl Marx as the future. To comply with
history’s choice, the US must beef up its military and impose the
American Way on the entire world. In other words, as Claes Ryn wrote, the American neoconservatives are
the “new Jacobins,” a reference to the French Revolution of 1789 that
intended to overthrow aristocratic Europe and replace it with “Liberty,
equality, fraternity,” but instead gave Europe a quarter century of war,
death, and destruction. Ideologies are dangerous, because they are immune to facts. Now that
the United States is no longer governed by the US Constitution, but by a
crazed ideology that has given rise to a domestic police state more
complete than that of Communist East Germany and to a warfare state that
attacks sovereign countries based on nothing but manufactured lies, we
are left with the irony that Russia and China are viewed as constraints
on Washington’s ability to inflict evil, death, and destruction on the
world. The two pariah states of the 20th century have become the hope of mankind in the 21st century! As Oliver Stone and Peter Kuznick prove in their book, The Untold
History of the United States, the American government has never deserved
its white hat reputation. Washington has been very successful in
dressing up its crimes in moralistic language and hiding them in
secrecy. It is only decades after events that the truth comes out. For example, on August 19, 1953, the democratically elected
government of Iran was overthrown by a coup instigated by the US
government. Sixty years after the event declassified CIA documents
detail how the secret CIA operation overthrew a democratic government
and imposed Washington’s puppet on the people of Iran. The declassified documents could not have spelled it out any clearer:
“The military coup that overthrew Mossadeq and his National Front
cabinet was carried out under CIA direction as an act of U.S. foreign
policy, conceived and approved at the highest levels of government.” http://www.cnn.com/2013/08/19/politics/cia-iran-1953-coup In the 21st century Washington is attempting to repeat its 1953 feat
of overthrowing the Iranian government, this time using the faux “green
revolution” financed by Washington. When that fails, Washington will rely on military action. If 60 years is the time that must pass before Washington’s crimes can
be acknowledged, the US government will admit the truth about September
11, 2001 on September 11, 2061. In 2013, on this 12th anniversary of
9/11, we only have 48 years to go before Washington admits the truth.
Alas, the members of the 9/11 truth movement will not still be alive to
receive their vindication. But just as it has been known for decades that Washington overthrew Mossadeq, we already know that the official story of 9/11 is hogwash. No evidence exists that supports the government’s 9/11 story. The
9/11 Commission was a political gathering run by a neoconservative White
House operative. The Commission members sat and listened to the
government’s story and wrote it down. No investigation of any kind was
made. One member of the Commission resigned, saying that the fix was
in. After the report was published, both co-chairmen of the Commission
and the legal counsel wrote books disassociating themselves from the
report. The 9/11 Commission was “set up to fail,” they wrote. NIST’s account of the structural failure of the twin towers is a
computer simulation based on assumptions chosen to produce the result.
NIST refuses to release its make-believe explanation for expert
scrutiny. The reason is obvious. NIST’s explanation of the structural
failure of the towers cannot survive scrutiny. There are many 9/11 Truth organizations whose members are high-rise architects, structural engineers, physicists, chemists and nano-chemists, military
and civilian airline pilots, firemen and first responders, former
prominent government officials, and 9/11 families. The evidence they
have amassed overwhelms the feeble official account. It has been proven conclusively that World Trade Center Building 7
fell at free fall which can only be achieved by controlled demolition
that removes all resistance below to debris falling from above so that
no time is lost in overcoming resistance from intact structures. NIST
has acknowledged this fact, but has not changed its story. In other words, still in America today official denial takes precedence over science and known undisputed facts. On this 12th anniversary of a false flag event, it is unnecessary for
me to report the voluminous evidence that conclusively proves that the

can read the scientists’ reports. You can hear from the first responders
who were in the WTC towers. You can read the pilots who say that the
maneuvers associated with the airliner that allegedly hit the Pentagon

Commission was created to bury the issue. No one in government was held accountable for the astonishing
failure. The national security state was defeated by a few rag tag

while holed up in a cave in Afghanistan, and no heads rolled. The total absence from the government for demands for an
investigation of an event that is the greatest embarrassment to a
“superpower” in world history is a complete give-away that 9/11was a
false flag event. The government did not want any investigation, because
the government’s cover story cannot stand investigation. The government could rely on the mega-media corporations in whose
hands the corrupt Clinton regime concentrated the US media. By
supporting rather than investigating the government’s cover story, the
media left the majority of Americans, who are sensitive to peer
pressure, without any support for their doubts. Effectively, the
American Ministry of Propaganda validated the government’s false story. Common everyday experiences of Americans refute the government’s
story. Consider, for example, self-cleaning ovens. How many American
homes have them? Thirty million? More? Do you have one? Do you know what temperature self-cleaning ovens reach? The
self-cleaning cycle runs for several hours at 900 degrees Fahrenheit or
482 degrees Celsius. Does your self-cleaning oven melt at 482 degrees
Celsius. No, it doesn’t. Does the very thin, one-eighth inch steel
soften and your oven collapse? No, it doesn’t. Keep that in mind while you read this: According to tests performed
by NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology), only 2% of the
WTC steel tested by NIST reached temperatures as high as 250 degrees
Celsius, about half the temperature reached by your self-cleaning oven.
Do you believe that such low temperatures on such small areas of the WTC
towers caused the massive, thick, steel columns in the towers to soften
and permit the collapse of the buildings? If you do, please explain
why your self-cleaning oven doesn’t weaken and collapse. In Section E.5 of the Executive Summary in this NIST report http://www.nist.gov/customcf/get_pdf.cfm?pub_id=101019
it says: “A method was developed using microscopic observations of
paint cracking to determine whether steel members had experienced
temperatures in excess of 250 degrees C. More than 170 areas were
examined . . . Only three locations had a positive result indicating
that the steel and paint may have reached temperatures in excess of 250
degrees C.” Analysis of steel “microstructures show no evidence of
exposure to temperatures above 600 degrees C for any significant time.” In section 3.6 of the NIST report http://www.nist.gov/customcf/get_pdf.cfm?pub_id=860495 NIST states: “NIST believes that this collection of steel from the WTC towers is adequate for purposes of the investigation.” How did these truths get out? My explanation is that the NIST
scientists, resentful of the threat to their jobs and future employment
opportunities and chaffing under the order to produce a false report,
revealed the coerced deception by including information that their
political masters did not understand. By stating unequivocally the
actual temperatures, NIST’s scientists put the lie to the coerced
report. The melting point of steel is around 1,500 degrees C. or 2,600
degrees F. Steel can lose strength at lower temperatures, but the NIST
scientists reported that only a small part of the steel was even
subjected to moderate temperatures less than those obtained by the
self-cleaning oven in your home. If you need to think about this a bit more, obtain a copy of The
Making of the Atomic Bomb by Richard Rhodes. Have a look at the
streetcar in photo 108. The caption reads: “The Hiroshima fireball
instantly raised surface temperatures within a mile of the hypocenter
well above 1,000 degrees F.” Is the streetcar a melted lump of steel?
No, it is structurally intact, although blackened with burnt paint. Washington would have you believe that steel that survived intact the
atomic bomb would melt from low temperature, short lived, isolated
office fires. What do you think of a government that believes that you
are that stupid? Who would support a government that lies every time it opens its mouth? The three WTC buildings that were destroyed were massive heat sinks. I doubt that the limited, short-lived, low temperature fires in the buildings even warmed the massive steel structures to the touch. Moreover, not a single steel column melted or deformed from softening. The columns were severed at specific lengths by extremely high temperature charges placed on the columns. On this 12th anniversary of 9/11, ask yourself if you really want to
believe that temperatures half those reached by your self-cleaning oven
caused three massive steel structures to crumble into dust. Then ask yourself why your government thinks you are so totally
stupid as to believe such a fairy tale as your government has told you
about 9/11.
